Reno: Before and After Case Study
I supported this client on purchasing her first home. At the time, this property was bank owned, that was the aftermath of the 2008 crash. The home was feeling very much distressed but luckily not enough to veer my client to purchase via financing. Sometimes distressed properties are in such distress that banks or lenders will ask for all cash offers. In this case, there were only light repairs, a thorough cleaning and a new paint job couldn’t handle to revamp this Silverlake home.
A few years in, my client made a few cosmetic upgrades in the bathrooms and she was ready for her next move. She got back in contact with me and she nearly doubled her investment in a few years. This is a perfect case example of a client being a savvy investor. Took advantage of am opportunity and made some smart improvements, that more than retuned her capital.
